{"id":2232,"date":"2015-08-06T14:07:53","date_gmt":"2015-08-06T21:07:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wallypots.com\/?p=2232"},"modified":"2015-11-09T12:55:08","modified_gmt":"2015-11-09T19:55:08","slug":"its-tomato-time","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wallypots.com\/?p=2232","title":{"rendered":"It&#8217;s Tomato Time!!!!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/wallypots.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/tomatochipanddip.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2234\" title=\"tomatochipanddip\" src=\"https:\/\/wallypots.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/tomatochipanddip-e1438892763961.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"500\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Last year I was invited to participate in Nashville&#8217;s craziest art festival: the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/artandinvention?fref=photo\" target=\"_blank\">Art and Invention Gallery<\/a> &#8220;Tomato Art Show.&#8221; \u00a0My sales for 2014 were a resounding success (all 18 pieces sold!) so this year we are back at it with a crop of 30 pots <em>that are even better than last year&#8217;s batch!<\/em> Most of what we sent this year are mugs and beer steins, but the showpiece item is the &#8220;Tomato Party Platter&#8221; seen above. I reused a few of <a href=\"https:\/\/wallypots.com\/?p=1988\" target=\"_blank\">the best design ideas from last year&#8217;s crop<\/a> (Edvard Munch&#8217;s &#8220;The Scream&#8221; with a tomato was too good not to do again), and I managed to come up with great new stuff:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/wallypots.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/tomatomugshot2015-e1438892727408.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2233\" title=\"tomatomugshot2015\" src=\"https:\/\/wallypots.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/tomatomugshot2015-e1438892727408.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"212\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Seen above in this group shot is (left to right), &#8220;The heirloom tomato is gonna rise again!&#8221;, &#8220;Fried Green Tomatoes&#8221;, &#8220;Mystical Tomato Predicts&#8221;, &#8220;Dancing Bloody Mary Ingredients&#8221;, &#8220;Hot Tomato&#8221; and &#8220;The Screaming Tomato.&#8221; I had so much fun making these pots!
